Help Fight Human Trafficking – Survivor Theresa Flores recalled the only item that would have reach out to her was a bar of soap. With that in mind she created S.O.A.P. Save Our Adolescents from Prostitution to reach out to help other victims with a mission to educate and rescue. Victims are provided a national hotline number to call for help and hotel/motels are trained to identified signs of trafficking and where to report. Click Here for more information.

Part-time Worship Leader – Jones Road Baptist Church is looking for a part-time Worship Leader. The Worship Leader will be responsible for planning music for the worship services and the leading of the ministry which includes choir, soloists and instrumentalists. Will also work with and develop children and youth choir/praise teams. Attached is the job description for more information. Operation Christmas Child – “God’s Love in a Shoebox” is the theme of the OCC meeting on October 8 at 6:30 in Founders Hall at Deermeadows Baptist Church.  Cindy Beyer, the former OCC Regional Director will speak on “Immeasurable More”.  She will enlighten and challenge us in God’s love to the neediest children in the world. Equipment and Furnishings sale – First Baptist Church of Jacksonville will hold a Church Equipment and Furnishings sale on Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 4 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m at 4865 Roosevelt Blvd., Jacksonville. Items for sale include office furniture, classroom furniture and supplies, and miscellaneous décor items. There will be no holds, and items must be picked up at time of purchase. Cash only.
