In keeping with our vision to connect the mission force to the mission field, the Jacksonville Baptist Association works with churches to engage our community through a host of services and training opportunities. If you would like to learn more about any of these services, which are provided to member churches, please reach out to us (email@example.com) or check our calendar for upcoming events.
Our team calls this process “Search & Rescue.” Through the community mapping training, you, your leadership team, and church will gain valuable cultural clarity using a process that is similar to that which is used by law enforcement to search for missing persons. The process leads to a significant increase in engagement of those who are lost in your community.
Jacksonville is the largest city by area in the contiguous United States. When one includes the surrounding metro area, some of our member churches can be quite a distance from one another. To that end, we have been working to develop collaborative church hubs, in which churches that share geographic proximity partner together for local collaborative projects, encouragement, and the sharing of resources. To participate in a collaborative hub or help start one in your community, reach out to our missional strategist for community engagement at firstname.lastname@example.org.
