Revitalization & Replanting

Church renewal is as important as church planting. The birth rate of healthy churches must go up. The death rate of existing churches must decline. We believe it is possible to increase the likelihood a church is started in healthy ways.

Engage Jax is committed to continue to reverse the trend of churches in decline and closure. Every congregation is unique and has unique challenges. We have developed several unique approaches for church revitalization and replanting and we would love to discuss those with you. Leading a declining or dying church is hard, but you don’t have to do it alone.

Pastor’s Advance Group

A monthly gathering to pray together, laugh together, share burdens, and discuss pertinent ministry issues such as revitalization and replanting. We are currently working through Dean Inserra’s book, The Unsaved Christian. Gatherings are the third Tuesday of each month @ Florida Baptist Financial Services Building on Baymeadows Way in Jacksonville. Worship Leadership Scholarship

Mr. & Mrs. Leroy Brown endowed the Walter L. Brown Memorial Scholarship Trust nearly 20 years ago for the purpose of funding scholarships to assist college students who are studying music / worship arts and desire to serve in a church. Since the inception of the Trust over $120,000 has been awarded to future worship arts leaders.

The total number and dollar amount of scholarships to be awarded varies yearly and is dependent upon the funds available for distribution and the number of applications received.
